On March 1, 2010 former Enron CEO Jeffrey Skilling who was caught for robbing investors of their hard-earned savings and sentenced to prison for 24 years is now appealing his case before the Supreme Court.

Children were left wandering alone without a mother, father or home as the Tsunami swept everything in its path.You could hear the gusting winds and whirling sounds of the storm’s wrath. Lives were lost and tossed out to sea, misery caused by the force of a tsunami.
It all began in the early morning hours when the earth shook and suddenly with no warning tremendous waves came ashore. It was like the Indian Ocean roared as giant waves swallowed people throughout many Asiatic countries and earthquakes rocked the ocean floor.
Everyone on the beaches gazed as they were taken by surprise as the tide began to rise.People tried to run for their lives, but it was too late for they were in the hands of Mother Nature’s massive twist of fate.
People clung to trees while others tried to flee.Lives, homes and belongings drifted away with the tidal waves.The people that survived walked around for days in a maze.Many foreign nations sent relief aid in the wake of the Great Sumatra-Andaman quake.
It will take years perhaps decades to rebuild from the destruction caused by the ocean storm. We mourn for the victims and the children of this terrible tragedy. Let it be a reminder that a tsunami could very well happen in our country.
